The road to England

Last spring I went on a car journey from Bulgaria to England and back. On the way there and back, I stayed in different places and saw some beautiful scenery. I had wanted to see the famous Neuschwanstein Castle for a long time and stayed in the region of the Bavarian Alps for two days. It really is an incredibly picturesque and fairy-tale-like region. I filmed some scenery with my drone and took a some pictures. I would like to go back there one day for longer in order to make a film about it.

Tha Austrian foothills of the Alps were also extremely beautiful and scenic with perfect little colorful villages, green pastures and old forests.

Some of the aerial shots from this whole trip can be seen in my one hour long video with my collection of aerial shots, that I have filmed over the last few years: https://youtu.be/Wiw5kYi1TL0

High Mountains

I went to Pirin National Park for a few days with the idea of making a long relaxation video of beautiful mountain scenery. I have always found Pirin mountain very picturesque and beautiful with it’s sharp jagged alpine style peaks, clear water streams, delicate and brightly coloured flowers and deep turquoise lakes, that are so cold even amidst the summer. Every day I was hiking up the mountain from one of the huts there, absorbing the beauty and the clean, fresh mountain air and filming the endless abundance of breathtaking scenery. The video, that I compiled from these days of shooting can be seen here: https://youtu.be/VtvBpcyQP9M

In the area I also saw and filmed a big herd of beautiful cows, peacefully grazing the lush green grass. I found watching them and hearing the clear sounds of their bells very relaxing and decided to go back next year specifically to film them. And I am happy to say, that I successfully did that. Welsh fairy tale

In the summer of 2010 I visited a number of alternative building projects in Wales. Built out of simple natural materials and covered with green roofs, these houses blend into the lush landscape. The beauty and tranquility of the Welsh countryside, along with the hobbit-like buildings, created an enchanting atmosphere and made me believe that is possible to live in a fairy tale, even in our modern world.
